Founded in 2004 as an Internet store by two sisters, Patrice and Samantha, they quickly found that didn't fulfill their dreams.   In 2005 they opened their doors at  5 North Street in Plymouth.   The vision was to offer items for those practicing the craft that was affordable and in an environment that made it easy for them and for those not familiar to better understand.   In less than two years we were bursting at the seams   Samantha moved on to expand on her jewelry and pursue other creative avenues.

After two short years, Ishtar's Avalon has grown and and moved into the beautiful Winslow-Warren House.   Collateral ancestors (cousins to the Warrens)- it's like moving home.  Two hundred and fifty years after Mercy Otis Warren moved into the house they moved in.  Today, you'll find traces of Mercy still lingering in her words as her quotes are written on the walls.

The shop continues to evolve with the start of Tea and Tarot and will continue to transition to a cosey spot, like walking into a Parlor, furnished with antiques and collectibles.

As we celebrate or 5th year anniversary we have decided to venture forth with other opportunities and have brought Ishtar's Avalon back to it's roots as an internet business.   We have enjoyed the last five years and look forward to more.

Patrice continues to be available for readings, and other services including Marriages, handfasting and other clergy needs.
